The Agualí Biological Station is located in the Apante Natural Reserve, on a hill on the outskirts of the city, 1.2 km from Dario Park.

If you are traveling by private transport:

 Please note that only 4×4 or high vehicles can reach the station, as 300mts of road is dirt. If you are traveling in a sedan or similar, we will coordinate a space 300 meters from the property where you can leave the vehicle with an extra cost of C$100 per night (U$2.5).

If you are traveling by public transportation.

The best option to get there is to take a cab indicating the following address:
“From Bermudez Hotel 7 blocks east”, or to “El Convento San Antonio, Barrio Aquiles Bonucci” cabs do not reach the property, from that point walk approximately 200 meters east and 100 meters south until you reach a green gate.

You can show the address to the cab driver, as our station is new to the public.

You can also walk from the bus station or from the center of Matagalpa, this will take you 20 mnts approximately, keep in mind that it is a hill so it can be a little tiring if you travel with suitcases.

We recommend coming before dark.
